asus maximus III formula problems! please help?
1.the motherboard is ment to come with Kaspersky anti virus. in the manual when i put the disc in there should be a thing that says, anti - virus utility, that doesnt come up.
2. i put in the supreme FX X-fi audio card that came with it when i try to launch the audio control panel it says the device supported by this application is not detected
3. the fan speed controller for my coolermaster V8 isnt working, its staying at 1455rpm.
I assume you have built everything correctly. You installed the OS...then the drivers that came with your disc...went to Asus..checked for updates...installed them (if any)..then installed the utilities.using their software installer which would automatically install all the software like the anti virus and sound card drivers? In Other words...you followed the manual step by step? The V8 has built in automatic thermal censers to regulate fan speed...it wont be going full blast till you start really pressing your CPU with some hard task..like Intense gaming.
